This was considered a big day for the PEPP Church Leaders as the Chair of the GPH, Atty. PEPP members and volunteers held two separate consultations with Ms. Jurgette Honculda, representative of the Government of the Philippines (GPH) and Atty. Edre Olalia, peace consultant of the National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP) with regards to the results of the recently concluded GPH-NDFP peace negotiations in Oslo, Norway.

Last September 19, 2010 a simple unity dinner was organized by the church community in support of a just and lasting peace.

A press conference will be held 10am on September 20 at the CBCP compound to open "Peace Week". A trainors training and workshop on the peace module will be held after at 1:30pm at the UCCP Shalom Center in Malate, Manila.

A fellowship dinner will be hosted by the PEPP on September 19, 2010 at the Barrio Fiesta restaurant in U.N. Avenue, Ermita, Manila. From 5-7PM there will be panel updates and dialogues. The fellowship dinner will commence after. Invited to the fellowship is the Honorable Ambassador of Norway (RNG), members of the GRP and NDFP peace panels and representatives, and various church leaders.

The Philippine Ecumenical Peace Platform held a workshop abou the Comprehensive Agreement on Social and Economic Reforms (CASER) at the Mornese Center of Spirituality of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, Laguna last November 16 to 18, 2009.
